THESE LITTLE ART PIECES ARE COLLAGES AND SKETCHES FROM MY LITTLE CLOSET IN MY HOME. I SET UP A LITTLE DESK WITH SIMPLE SUPPLIES. DURING THE YOUNGER CHILDREN'S REST TIME, I WILL GO BACK TO MY LITTLE PLACE AND CREATE THINGS THAT ARE IN MY HEART. THIS IS ALL NEW. IT GOES TO SHOW THAT ONE IS NEVER TOO OLD OR TOO BUSY TO DISCOVER A HIDDEN INTEREST OR GIFT. MY HEART IS TO BLESS OTHERS WITH REST, HOPE AND PEACE THROUGH MY NEW FOUND ABILITY.

Cotton Heritage Collage

This was my first art attempt with fabric.My husband's great aunt stitched this quilted bed topper many years ago. I have had it for 14 years and never really knew what to do with it. It had many stained and damaged parts. So I cut out the quilted designs and created a cloth collage that could be framed. Now I have a colorful lovely framed art collage for my home as well as a beautiful heirloom. In addition I added a little raffia to give it an extra touch.
